Removing Mold In The Closet

A leaking roof left this closet damp and eventually caused a serious mold problem to develop in this home. The homeowner contacted SERVPRO of San Marcos / New Braunfels and we responded quickly.

We immediately got to work addressing the moisture issue. We pulled out the wet materials including the carpet and the drywall and set up equipment to help the moisture to evaporate quickly. By using air movers and dehumidifiers we were able to create a balance between evaporation and dehumidification that cause the moisture to dissipate quick enough to mitigate further damage to the home.
