Facility Experiences Chemical Fire Inside of Testing Chamber
An unexpected fire broke out on this train coil testing facility that examines heat and cold of the coils they use.
The picture is taken inside the testing chamber. The purpose of the testing chamber is so they can increase heat and cold to test the coils. During one of the testing, something triggered the sprinkler system inside the chamber; in return, it had a chemical reaction with the chamber's materials and created soot of some sort. That soot was in liquid form and leaked out of the chamber and onto the entire testing facility floor.
Our trained technicians at SERVPRO of San Marcos/New Braunfels arrived with our specialized equipment and techniques to remove smoke and soot from ceilings, walls, and other surfaces. The end result was another job completed to our customer's expectations!
